Pastor Tony Thomas has been serving as Pastor of Living Waters since July 2014. He and his wife Brenda, have three children and five grandchildren. Pastor Thomas received a Bachelor of Religious Education from Piedmont Bible College in 1974. He has pastored three churches in North Carolina over the past 50 years. He was also involved in Christian Education for 39 years until he retired from teaching in 2018. His life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Ben Taylor was saved in 2011 at Vandalia Christian High School, after salvation he led a bible study group at Vandalia each morning for students who wanted to start their day in God’s Word and prayer. He was called to preach God’s Word in 2014, preaching his first message at Living Waters Baptist Church. He attended Bob Jones University, while there participated in bible studies in the local juvenile detention center, also preaching and leading an outreach that ministered to a local nursing home. He was ordained in 2023 and voted in as assistant pastor of Living Waters Baptist Church in 2024. Ben and his wife Emily have been married since 2020 and are eager to serve the Lord through His strength and wisdom.
